5 tips to pay less for your shopping with a list
- Write the list after checking the weekly ads, not before: this week's offers often decide the menu.
- Group items by aisle to spend less time in store and cut impulse buys.
- Compare the price per kg or per litre, especially on multipacks and "special offer" sizes.
- Check the dates: every offer in a weekly ad has a start and an end date.
- Keep your regular items: the list suggests them again, and you see straight away which ones are on offer.
